
About Danya Yu The artist
​
Danya is an accountant-turned-artist who graduated from The University of Melbourne, Australia; Diploma and First Class Degree (Hon) from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and Loughborough University, UK. She is specialized in Western Painting and large format façade art. She is currently a full time artist non-exclusively represented by Cape of Good Hope gallery and other art galleries. Apart from participating exhibitions regularly, she has also showcased her works in the region such as Affordable Art, Singapore and HK, Malaysia Expo, and art fairs in Indonesia and China. Her works have been selected to represent Singapore for Shenzhen Oil Painting Biennale, 2019 and Vietnam International Art Fair 2020.
she is also very active in creating large format public art. In 2015-2019 alone, she was awarded for 9 public art projects commissioned by Passion Arts and other government institutions. She was also the lead artist for LTA art project of Holland Village MRT Station, 2014.
